One of the greatest benefits of Orissa ‘s vast expanses of unspoilt natural landscape has been its ability to offer a protected yet natural habitat to the state’s incredible wildlife.There are many wildlife sancturies which are home to a wide variety of flora and fauna ,bird life reptiles and water creatures.Some of the most important experiments of wildlife conservation are taking place in these natural habitat, giving the tourists an excellent opportunity to see nature’s bounty,propagated .
Nandankanan : A short distance from the capital city, Bhubaneswar,
the Nandankanan zoo lies in the splendid environs of the Chandaka forest, along
the rippling waters of the Kanjia lake.It also contains a botanical garden and
part of it has been declared as sanctuary. Famous for its white tiger population
,Nandankanan or the Garden of Gods has become a hot family favorite ,with visitors
getting an excellent opportunity to enjoy seeing these regal animals in their
natural glory- in an environment conductive to their growth.
Similipal Tiger Reserve : Thick and green forests, extensive
grassy lands and meadows, cloud kissing peaks, precipitous and sparkling waterfalls,
meandering rivers, roaring tigers and trumpeting tuskers, fleeing deer and flying
squirrels, talking myna and dancing peacocks et al make Similipal a dreamland
of Nature in the wilderness and an irresistible destination.
Bhitarkanika Sanctuary : Located in the second
largest mangrove forest in the country, the sanctuary has protected the estuarine
crocodiles since 1975 . Located slightly further away is the coastal area of
Gahirmatha, where the giant Pacific ridley sea turtles, traveling annually from
as far away from South America nest by the millions. Special arrangements were
made to ensure their protection as the turtles were preyed upon by the local
folk many years ago.

Day 01 Arrive Bhubaneswar
Arrive Bhubaneswar and drive to your hotel. Relax
Day 02 Bhubaneswar
In the morning leave for a full day excursion to Puri and Konark. See the Jagannath Temple in Puri and then continue towards Konark to witness the architectural wonder of man. See the Sun Temple that is built out of stone and shaped like a chariot with 24 wheels.
Return to Bhubaneshwar via Pipli village where they make souvenirs out of palm leaves.
Day 03 Bhubaneswar – Khola- Dangamal - Bhitarkanika
Drive to Khola on the way visiting Ratnagiri, Lalitgiri & Udaigiri Buddhist excavated sites.
Start your cruise through the beautiful Mangroov Creeks to Dangamal ( 01 hours cruise to Dangamal -Hub of the Sanctuary ).
This drive gives a lovely chance to view the crocodiles basking on the sandy side of the forest and innocent deer.
Check in at the Forest cottage and relax with the endangered deer. Overnight at the Forest Rest House.
Day 04 Bhitarkanika
After breakfast, Cruise in a creek to Bird’s point and enjoy a short lovely walk in side the Mangroove jungle with the Forest Guide being familiar with birds sound & be in the nature. Lunch on board with the local fish & simple cooked rice, dal & vegetable. Capture the fantastic view of the nature with the endanger crocodile’s thru your lenses & save them in your heart.
Day 05 Dangamal – Chandbali - Lulung
Cruise to Chandbali and drive to Lulung; the entry point of Similipal Sanctuary. Check in to the room & rest of the day free for a walk on the river side.
Day 06 Similipal Park
Explore the Jungle with a Jeep ride & visit the Joranda & Barapani Water Falls. You can spot the animals during the drive crossing the road.
Day 07 Similipal Park - Tikarpara
Drive to Tikarapara & check into the Tents. Walk on the river side for the rest of the day. Overnight at the Camp.
Day 08 Tikarpara
Trekking in the Jungle & enjoy the serenity of the area around you. Boating at the River to enjoy the Jungle from the River side. Visit the Crocodile Sanctuary.
Day 09 Tikarapara – Bhubaneshwar
Drive to Bhubaneshwar to explore the rest of the places in the capital city.
Day 10 Bhubaneswar – depart
In time get transferred to the airport for your onwards destination.
